    Hi Community;

    trying to follow the DNN user experience guide I found this webpage:

    http://uxguide.dotnetnuke.../SimpleFormDemo.aspx

    I'm using the CssClass="dnnFormRequired" successfully on textboxes.

    But when I'm trying this on DNNCOMBOBOXES or DNNDATEPICKERS it is totaly not what I expected. (probably all other controls)

    (see the attached screenshot).

    Has anybody got a tip on how to solve this and make the red required indicator integrate in the control as seamlessly as the TEXTBOX?

      One option is to upgrade to DNN7 where the required field indicators have been moved to the label control instead of the edit control.

        I agree with Bruce, upgrade to DNN 7.

          Hi Guys,
          thanks for your time.
          The screenshot is from an dnn7 installation, so the old indicator classes have been kept as legacy option I guess.
          I still like the red border solution more because it's nicer to look at and is a more modern way of doing this.
          (I've seen the ancient * more than enough)
